About There For You Dog Training LLC

There For You Dog Training is a one-trainer practice – "I am an Asheville, NC based dog trainer, but I travel to surrounding areas and offer virtual sessions for those that are outside of my travel range" – working one-to-one with owners rather than running classes.

How a program runs

The structure is published precisely. Every engagement opens with a 90-minute consultation that goes over the owner's concerns, starts addressing them, and covers goals and education. Follow-up sessions run 30 to 60 minutes. Every consultation and session comes with a written write-up afterward covering what was discussed, what training was started and what comes next.

The four services

Cooperative Care is the distinctive one: teaching a dog not just to tolerate veterinary handling and at-home care but to participate willingly and hold still for nail trims, injections, brushing and ear medication. Private Training covers basic and advanced manners taught at home and out in the real world, along with minor behavior problems such as pulling on the leash or bolting through a door. Puppy Foundations covers potty training and basic manners plus confidence-building and proper socialization. Day Training and Walk n' Train are for owners without the time to do the training themselves.

Credentials, as stated

The trainer says she is a graduate of the Victoria Stilwell Academy's Online Dog Trainer Course and has completed the Fear Free Trainer course, describing herself as a Fear Free Certified Professional trainer. Her own account says she worked in a shelter and then spent four years as a veterinary assistant before changing careers.
