The trainer

Erin Marie Nelson is the owner and sole trainer. She writes on the about page that she got her first dog at nine years old, that the dog was trained with tricks, off-leash heeling and a solid recall, and that she was the nine-year-old who asked for a dog and then actually took care of it and trained it. With her next dog she sought out professional trainers, and the site says that is where the career began. A second person, Beth, has her own page on the site.

The method

The stated approach is positive reinforcement using praise, food and toys, and the reasoning given is that every dog and owner is different, so owners must sometimes adjust how they train to reach the result they want. Erin describes what she enjoys as creating harmony in family homes.
