About Green Valley K9

Green Valley K9 on Calkins Road is primarily a daycare, boarding and grooming facility, and it has been running since 2019. It earns a place in a training directory for one published program rather than a general training department.

Puppy Pathways

Puppy Pathways is a structured training and socialization program for puppies aged sixteen weeks to eight months, focused on socialization, manners and skill development. The site describes it as structured rather than as free play, and it sits in the services list alongside daycare, boarding, grooming and pool rentals as its own line item. That is the whole of the training offer here, and this profile does not claim more.

The facility

The operation is application-based rather than walk-in, which the site states up front. Boarding runs to 130 private suites with raised Kuranda beds. Daycare runs in groups of five to twelve dogs depending on size and temperament, with dogs resting in their own private kennels between sessions. The grooming spa has a separate private entrance and check-in area, which the site says is meant to keep the arrival calm. Private pool rentals are available year-round.

How it describes itself

The stated commitment since opening has been a safe, engaging and wholesome experience for every dog, delivered by a close-knit team that treats each dog like family. The summary the site uses for its four services is that a dog can love, learn, play and stay.
