About Peach State Canine | Professional Dog Trainers

Peach State Canine is a Marietta dog training business at 640 Old Orchard Dr whose published specialty is immersive board and train. Its own page puts it plainly: "we specialize in immersive board & train programs that give your dog clear structure, build focus around distractions, and actually work in and out of your home. We'll train your dog for you, then train you on how to keep the results for life."

How the board and train works

Dogs live in the home with their trainer for the duration of the program rather than in a kennel run. The business argues this is the point of the model — a home is the setting the dog returns to, so the behavior is practiced where it has to hold, and the stress and overstimulation of a traditional kennel are taken out of the picture.

Method

The published approach is "rooted in balance, structure, and understanding", setting clear boundaries and expectations while addressing the root causes of a behavior and the dog's natural drives. The site is candid about the owners it is written for: people who have tried treats, tried raising their voice, tried equipment, and still have a dog that pulls, jumps, barks or falls apart around guests.
