About Rocket Science Training and Behavior Solutions

What they do

Rocket Science Training and Behavior Solutions describes itself as "a mobile, in-home pet/dog behavior service that serves Athens, Atlanta, and surrounding areas". The published offering is split between behavior change programs, private training sessions, weekly puppy socialization classes, service and support dog training, professional seminars, community outreach and a prison program the site calls FEATS.

Method

The method is stated as force-free and curriculum-led: "A systematic, science based curriculum builds up appropriate behavior while instilling confidence and an overall feeling of well-being." The site's own framing of aggression is that fear underlies it, and that the answer is patience and a systematic approach rather than pain or intimidation.

Where they work

Work happens in the client's home across the Athens and Atlanta corridor; the business's address is in Lexington, Oglethorpe County, east of Athens. Seminar and instructional work is also delivered to veterinary and rescue audiences.
