About The Duncan School Of Canine Excellence

Who they are

The Duncan School of Canine Excellence is a Cartersville training business founded by Alisha Cline, who is named on the site as founder and trainer. The school runs four published tracks: family pet dog obedience, service dog training, therapy dog certification prep, and odor detection.

What you can book

Pet-dog work runs from puppy basics upward through private lessons, with the site describing positive reinforcement and step-by-step methods. The therapy track prepares handler-and-dog teams for certification through Pet Partners, and the site describes itself as an Official Pet Partners Therapy Dog Evaluator. Service dog training is offered as a program covering public access skills and task training. Detection training covers scent discrimination and focus work, offered both as competitive scent work and for professional applications.

Focus

The 2026 statement on the site describes the school's emphasis as “Precision Training” — accuracy in odor detection, reliability in service work, and a calm, balanced dog at home. A team page lists the school's own working dogs and an educational-visits program.
