About Treat A Good Dog Obedience Training, LLC

Treat A Good Dog Obedience Training, LLC describes itself on its own About page as "a leading dog training company based in Cartersville, Georgia", although its listing sits at the northern edge of the west metro Atlanta catchment. Its strapline is "Building strong bonds, one treat at a time".

What is offered

Two services are published: Obedience Training, described as learning essential commands and strengthening the bond, and Behavior Modification, described as addressing specific issues and creating positive changes. The FAQ is explicit about the format — asked whether group classes are offered, the business answers: "We offer private training sessions at the clients home."

Method

The published method is positive reinforcement: "We use positive reinforcement techniques, focusing on rewarding good behavior rather than punishing bad behavior." On how long results take, the business says it varies by dog, by issue and by how often the owner trains, and that a trainer works with the owner to build a customized plan and timeline.
