About Legendary K9 Georgia

What they do

Legendary K9 Georgia runs board-and-train programs and one-on-one sessions from a farm outside Sylvania, with separate basic obedience, advanced obedience and behavior modification tracks, each with its own published contract. Boarding runs alongside the training.

How they train

They describe the approach themselves: "We have developed a method of training animals that is not about force but rather play based balanced training." The owner is part of it – they work with each owner at graduation and afterwards, and are blunt that "the owner must be a willing participant."

In the community

Their site says they board the Effingham County Sheriff's department K9 officers' dogs, work with Screven County K9 handlers, and put no-cost obedience on local rescue and shelter intakes to help those dogs place faster.

Setting

1345 Buttermilk Road, Sylvania, Georgia 30467 – eight acres in what they call "the beautiful country atmosphere of Screven County," within reach of Statesboro, Guyton, Rincon and Savannah.
