About Dogs in Training Inc.

What they offer

Dogs in Training Inc. describes its work as training dogs, and their people, in foundation obedience commands and behavior modification. The home page lists what it teaches, including come, sit-stay and down-stay with distance and distraction, and says it can help dogs that are anxious, nervous, high energy, jumping, nipping or out of control, as well as owners who just want better leash walking.

Approach

The owner, who introduces herself as Teresa, writes that with command training a dog learns to think instead of react, and that training builds trust, respect and listening. The site frames the goal as a better relationship between you and your dog, with commands that carry into everyday life.

Getting started

The site takes new clients through a training request form and a deposit page.
