About Obedient Companions K-9 Training LLC

What they offer

Obedient Companions K-9 Training lists basic obedience, off-leash training, behavior training for problems such as barking, jumping and leash pulling, and tailored programs. Its services page describes a 6-week advanced boarding program that includes e-collar training for off-leash control, and a 12-week puppy board and train program for puppies between 10 weeks and 6 months covering obedience, crate and potty routines, early socialization and impulse control. It also offers a balanced loose leash walking course.

How the training works

The site describes a balanced approach that combines positive reinforcement with clear boundaries, and says it teaches owners the psychology behind their dog's behavior. The puppy program includes a mid-program lesson and a final owner transfer session.

Who trains here

The home page is written by Victor, who says he is the owner and trainer and that he obtained a professional dog trainer certification through the American Standard K9 Trainers Academy. That is the site's own claim.

Good to know

The site says it serves Alabaster and central Alabama and publishes a phone number but no street address.
