About Cypress Slew Retrievers

Duck dog development near Marion

Cypress Slew Retrievers is a full-time working kennel located 8 miles northwest of Marion and about 20 miles from downtown Memphis. With "20 Years Experience," it specializes in developing retrievers for the duck hunter, and the trainer describes 40 years as a waterfowl hunter. The kennel limits the number of dogs in training so each retriever gets individual time, and it works with each dog's natural abilities and desire.

Programs

Cypress Slew offers Puppy Headstart training, obedience, gun dog training and its popular Tune Up training. Training includes boarding, feed and birds, and dogs are fed a high-performance dog food. The kennel also offers studs and litters.
