About College for Canines

Obedience and protection training in Oronoco

College for Canines is an Oronoco dog training business run by Rochester native Brian Breutzman, working by appointment and serving Rochester, Oronoco, Pine Island, Mazeppa and Byron. Since 2007, Brian trained at one of the most acclaimed dog training academies in the United States, in a program covering puppy imprinting, obedience, agility, tracking and protection training.

Approach

Brian believes a healthy relationship with a dog rests on mutual trust, respect and consistent expectations. College for Canines is known for a high level of obedience in real world environments, and Brian also specializes in behavior modification.

Programs

Basic and advanced obedience training takes puppies from 8 weeks and adult dogs of any age. Behavior modification addresses chewing, digging, shy or aggressive behavior and housebreaking. Protection dog training covers commands, bite work and property protection. Brian can prepare dogs for the Canine Good Citizen program, and graduates can board with a behavior and command refresh during their stay.
