Private training in Rochester

Threshold K9 offers personalized private dog training in Rochester and surrounding southeast Minnesota communities, under the tagline "From Chaos to Control." The trainer is a CATCH Certified Dog Trainer, certified in canine first aid and CPR, a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP), and volunteers with shelter dogs.

Method

Training starts with clear communication, structure and teaching dogs what is expected, tailored to the individual dog, the owner's goals and the situation. It focuses on calm behavior and real-world skills at home, on walks and around distractions, and teaches owners to lead their dog confidently, with the whole family involved.

Programs and prices

Start with a $100 consultation and assessment, credited toward a qualifying package bought within 14 days. Puppy Foundations (8 weeks to 6 months) and Adult Reset (6 months and older) are private training at $125 per session, with the number of sessions set by the assessment. Day Training gives six hours of one-on-one training on weekends for $250, after a $50 evaluation credited to the first day.
