About K9 Summit Academy

What they offer

K9 Summit Academy works with families in the Denver area. Its in-home day training program has the trainer, Margaret, come to the house once a day, Monday through Friday, to work on basic obedience, leash walking and specific behavior issues, with a weekly catch-up lesson for the owner and homework for the weekend. The site compares it to a board and train carried out in the dog's own environment.

Lessons and puppies

Private lessons of 60-90 minutes run about a week apart, typically four to ten lessons tailored to the owner's goals. The puppy program combines private lessons with structured socialization field trips. The site also offers off-leash training focused on reliable recall for camping and hiking.

Good to know

All programs include free access to unlimited group classes and access to boarding at the trainer's home.
