About Respectful K9 Dog Training
What they offer
Respectful K9 Dog Training is a force-free, in-home trainer and behavior consultant serving the area within 20 miles of Littleton. Head trainer Alina works on basic manners and puppy training, but the site says her real strength is dogs with reactivity, separation anxiety and aggression, and she works with the needs of shelter and rescue dogs.
Problems it helps with
The site lists dogs that bark, lunge or growl on leash, become destructive when left alone, are afraid of thunderstorms, car rides or vacuums, guard food or toys, or are shelter and rescue dogs that need a training reboot. It also notes limited consultation and referral help for severe aggression cases.
Sessions and packages
Every client starts with a free screening call and an in-home assessment of up to 90 minutes. Single in-home sessions and packages of four, six or eight hour-long sessions are available, and puppies from eight weeks to six months have Puppy Basics (six sessions) and Puppy Plus (nine sessions) packages. The services page lists discounts for first responders and military, seniors, people with disabilities and newly adopted shelter or rescue pets.
