What they offer

Comprehensive Dog Training and Nutrition is a one-on-one, in-home dog training service based in Highlands Ranch, run by Alana Brantley. Its core services are in-home private lessons, reactivity and aggression work, guidance for owners training their own psychiatric service dogs, puppy preparation including help finding a responsible breeder, owner coaching, and nutrition and lifestyle advice folded into the behavior plan.

Sessions and pricing

The first session is held in the client's home, and follow-ups can be at home or at a dog-friendly place of the owner's choosing. Session prices are time-based whatever the topic, with discounted packages of five, eight or twelve sessions. The pricing page also lists an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluation and a service dog public access assessment carried out at a grocery store, a restaurant and another public building. Clients get detailed notes and homework after each lesson and unlimited text, phone and video support between sessions.

About the trainer

The about page says Alana volunteered walking shelter dogs before changing careers, earned her dog training certification through Animal Behavior College in 2017 and is also an Animal Behavior College mentor trainer and an approved veterinary assistant. She completed clinical pet nutrition coursework through Southern Illinois University in 2022 and describes herself as a full-time dog behaviorist and clinical pet nutritionist.
