About Sirius Confidence
What they offer
Sirius Confidence is an Aurora dog trainer offering positive, science-based training for new dogs and puppies and for dogs that need help with anxiety and reactivity. The site says the owner, Christie, spent nearly 20 years as a certified veterinary technician, which shaped a service that includes help for dogs who struggle with veterinary visits and nail trims alongside beginner training and behavior modification.
Packages
For new puppies and adopted dogs, owners choose a package of four, six or ten one-hour sessions ($376, $534 or $819). The packages cover basic manners such as loose-leash walking, not jumping and coming when called, and work toward a calmer dog in public and around other dogs and people. Anxiety and reactivity work uses force-free techniques to help with leash pulling, excessive barking and fear at the vet.
Before the dog comes home
A separate consultation helps families plan for a new dog: choosing a breed, rescue versus breeder, puppy-proofing, introductions to other pets or children and setting up a routine. It is offered as a 1.5-hour in-person visit ($125) or a phone consult ($60 an hour), and a free 10-minute call helps owners pick the right package.
