About Pawsitive K9 Trainers LLC

What they offer

Pawsitive K9 Trainers has provided puppy, adolescent and dog training in the West Valley since 2018, including Goodyear, Estrella Mountain, Avondale, Litchfield Park, Verrado, Buckeye, Surprise, Peoria and Glendale. Its Platinum Puppy Program, for dogs eight weeks to two years old, covers manners, leash skills, polite greetings, husbandry, potty training and problems such as counter surfing, digging, chewing and nipping, in the home and dog-friendly places; it can also run as a day training or home school program.

Approach

Training uses positive reinforcement with management, structure and boundaries, combined with what the business calls Family Dog Mediation: enrichment and adapting the home to the dog. Each visit ends with homework and handouts.

Before adopting

A short consultation is available for families thinking about adding a dog.
