About Mirak K9 Training Base

What they offer

Mirak K9 Training Base is run by a certified Training Without Conflict trainer from Goodyear. It offers obedience foundation classes, private lessons with a training partner, and group classes in puppy socialization, reactive dog support and handling and confidence work. Classes move indoors to a climate-controlled space in central Phoenix during the summer.

How it works

A consultation assesses the dog's temperament, social interactions and training level and looks at current problems such as leash pulling, jumping or barking. The first session sets goals and a personalized plan.

Approach

The trainer describes science-based, conflict-free methods that work with a dog's instincts while keeping its confidence.
