About Daily K9 Academy

What they offer

Daily K9 Academy coaches owner-trained service dog teams in Goodyear and greater Maricopa County. Its core program is a one-on-one apprenticeship of 12 to 24 months that starts with an assessment of your dog, or help choosing one, and moves through graduated public-access training and the specific tasks a handler's disability requires. It covers psychiatric, autism, medical alert and response and mobility service dogs; the site says it does not train guide or hearing dogs.

The academy also takes a few everyday-obedience clients for real-life manners.

Who trains

The founder, Nicole VanCleave, is an ASCT Certified Instructor and a psychiatric service dog handler, and graduation is measured against ASCT standards. A free intake call is the first step.
