Coaching for dog people

Cult of Dogs is a dog training and pet care business serving Eugene and Springfield, with remote options. Certified behavior consultant Alex Pederson began working with dogs professionally in 2019 and specializes in leash reactivity, separation anxiety and aggression. She holds Trainer and Behavior Consultant certifications from CCPDT and certificates from the Aggression In Dogs Master Course and a separation anxiety course.

Method

Training is positive reinforcement based, with a focus on coaching the human end of the leash. Each plan starts with a detailed history and assessment, then easy-to-follow instructions and support between sessions.

Services and prices

In-person coaching at home is $125/hour, online coaching is $95/hour, dog-only training packages start at $92/hour, and training packages start at $330. Pet care includes dog walking at $60/hour and in-home petsitting at $135/day. Socialization options include a Wednesday playgroup near River Rd & Beltline at $45 per day and 1:1 Social Hour at $75/hour.
