What they offer

Contented Canine offers compassionate, force-free dog training in Snohomish County, with a base service area of Everett, Lake Stevens, Maltby, Mill Creek, Monroe, Mukilteo and Snohomish. New clients start with a behavior intake session that ends with a management plan and training exercises, followed by in-person sessions in the owner's home or virtual sessions, with email and text support between sessions. Day training sessions, in which the trainer works one-on-one with the dog, suit dogs with leash reactivity and fearful or nervous dogs, and also cover recall, leash walking, muzzle training and cooperative handling. Puppy training focuses on raising a confident, resilient dog and on preventing problems later.

The trainer uses positive reinforcement and does not use fear, intimidation or pain.

Owner Anna is the lead trainer and behavior consultant and keeps up with continuing education in learning theory.
