About Scotch Pines Dog Training -Idaho Falls- Southeast Idaho
Seasonal off-leash classes in Idaho Falls
Scotch Pines Dog Training runs a seasonal 8-week obedience program for southeast Idaho, with group classes held in Idaho Falls at Tautphaus Park. It serves Idaho Falls, Pocatello, Rexburg, Blackfoot and surrounding areas. The program is open to dogs of all breeds, ages and sizes, from energetic puppies and rescues to adolescents with bad habits and anxious dogs.
Method
Scotch Pines cites over 30 years of experience and focuses on teaching dogs to listen because they respect and trust the owner as leader, rather than relying on food rewards. Training happens in large groups and real environments such as parks, neighborhoods and public spaces to build off-leash reliability around distractions.
Meet Sarah
Head trainer Sarah Crozier became a trainer after the program transformed her own German Shepherd, and says she has trained thousands of people over the last twelve years.
Schedule
The 2027 tentative schedule lists a spring session April 4 to May 22 (registration opens January 10) and summer/fall sessions starting in August (registration opens April 10). Other offerings include a Welcome Home Puppy on-demand course, a Settle Bootcamp and a DIY off-leash program.
