About The Canine Coach

What they offer

The Canine Coach provides private, relationship-focused dog training in Albuquerque and surrounding areas, by appointment from Tuesday to Saturday, and starts with a free in-home consultation. The trainer has more than twelve years of hands-on experience.

Programs

Services include puppy training, obedience training, behavior modification, off-leash training and in-home training. The puppy program includes an in-home assessment, a personalized socialization plan, house and crate training, bite inhibition and confidence building, foundational skills and text and email support between sessions. Owners also learn loose-leash walking, coming when called, polite greetings and everyday manners.

Approach

The method puts the relationship first: the owner learns to build trust, communicate clearly and understand what the dog is saying, so obedience holds up when life gets exciting. Graduates can join an ongoing support membership.
