About All Around K-9

What they offer

All Around K-9 is the training side of a long-running Sheridan boarding facility on Beaver Creek Road, which recently rebranded under this name with the same owners, staff and location. The head trainer holds a master canine trainer certification and has a police K-9 and military working dog background, and the team describes its approach as balanced training that is effective and humane, with a clear bond between dog and handler.

Training programs

Level 1 basic obedience is a three-week board and train that teaches commands such as sit, down, place, quiet and come, followed by three lessons with the owner to carry the training into everyday life. A six-week bootcamp works toward off-leash control and recall, and intermediate and advanced obedience are available by phone inquiry. The facility also trains service dogs at all levels, including a program that selects and trains rescue dogs from shelters, and offers agility, tracking, hunting and search and rescue work, behavior and aggression evaluations, drive assessments and personal protection and police K-9 training.

Boarding and grooming

Boarding and grooming continue on site, and the online reservation form is for boarding only; call or text to check availability for a training program. Drop-off and pick-up are by appointment during the morning and afternoon windows, and the facility is closed on Saturdays.
