About Aloha Pet Services, LLC.

What they offer

Aloha Pet Services trains dogs from its home base in Carpio, north of Minot, and specializes in anxiety and aggression rehabilitation. The trainer works with dogs whose intense behavior problems were not fixed as puppies or through other methods, as well as puppies and easygoing dogs that need basic or advanced obedience.

Programs

One-on-one sessions are an hour long and held in Carpio. They cover sit, down, place, heeling and recall, teach owners how to keep a dog in a calm state around distractions, and introduce e-collar training; homework is given after each session. The site says these sessions are not designed for dogs with extreme anxiety, fear or aggression. Board and train programs last four or six weeks and work on leash walking without pulling or reacting, recall, place, jumping and mouthing, crate behavior, separation anxiety and calm on command, and each includes six hours of private sessions with the owner. Boarding is offered too.

Good to know

The property is also the trainer's residence, so tours and drop-in visits are not allowed, and every dog must be current on vaccinations before arriving.
