About Pups-N-Motion

Puppy head starts from Merrimack

Pups-N-Motion is a Merrimack puppy training business run by owner Liz Belcher, aimed at giving pups a head start toward becoming confident, loyal companions. Programs include puppy board and train options, private consults and evaluations. Liz moved into training full time in 2022 after a long career in the aerospace defense industry.

Credentials and method

Liz is a certified Family Dog Mediator (FDM), a registered AKC CGC Evaluator, a professional member of the APDT and IAABC, and a student of the Victoria Stilwell Academy for Dog Training and Behavior. She says her technique has shifted from obedience and control toward a well-balanced pup built through connection, trust and positive reinforcement.

Services

Work covers day and night crate training, potty training, basic obedience and self-control, socialization (including a "rule of sevens" checklist for young puppies), loose leash walking and good manners such as curbing nipping, jumping and door dashing.
