PetSmart Dog Training in Salem runs classes at the PetSmart store at 290 S Broadway. Every class its Accredited Trainers teach is built around positive reinforcement, helping dogs of all ages build skills that hold up in everyday situations.
Classes
Group classes give dogs the chance to practice responding to cues around other dogs and real-life distractions. Groups are small, with 4-10 dogs, and run over several weeks so owners can practice between sessions. There are three levels of courses, each building on the one before, and graduates can move on to an advanced class and skills such as special tricks and therapy dog training. Private sessions are available for owners who want training built around their dog's own pace, and savings packages let owners combine two or more classes.
