About Central New England K9 Academy

Training and boarding in Grafton

Central New England K9 Academy is a dog training and boarding business at 80 Orange Pond Road in Grafton. It was founded by Matt Fischer, a dog trainer and behaviorist who completed his professional training program at New England K9 Center in 1999 and is credited with 30+ years of training and behavioral experience. He is an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, and his expertise covers reactive and aggressive dogs, obedience, personal protection, and sport and hunting dogs.

Philosophy

The academy's core idea is that the strongest tool in dog training is the bond between dog and owner. Methods are practical and tailored to each dog's personality and the family's lifestyle, and sessions mix structured on-site lessons with real-world outings.

Services

Offerings run from an AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy program to reactive and aggressive dog lessons, with private lessons, group classes, in-home training and CGC evaluations. Boarding includes day, overnight and in-home stays with an experienced trainer, and the academy also places puppies, trained adult dogs and rescues. It serves the Lakes Region, the Concord area, the Upper Valley and beyond, by appointment only.
