About Clark’s Companion Dog Training LLC

Private training based in Shelton

Clark's Companion Dog Training LLC is a veteran-owned dog training business located in Shelton, serving Fairfield County and New Haven County. All of its training is 1 on 1, built on customized plans after an assessment of the dog and the owner's goals. Its trainers are described as certified and versed in multiple training techniques, and the team donates time weekly to local dog shelters, helping train dogs to make them more adoptable.

Programs

Puppy Training is for dogs 10-14 weeks old and covers sit, down, place, crate, house breaking, socialization and leash skills. Basic Training covers the same foundation for dogs 14 weeks or older. Intermediate adds heel, and Advanced adds stand, recall and off leash work, proofing behaviors around distractions. Day Training is a 3 hour drop off or pick up option, and in the Board & Train program dogs live with the trainer and family dogs while working on obedience or behavior modification.
