About EZ Pups

What they offer

EZ Pups is a dog training business on Polk Road in Alpine that says it builds every plan around the dog's quirks, the owner's schedule and the owner's goals rather than a fixed syllabus. It works with dogs of any age and size and offers a free consultation by phone.

Programs

The program list covers a Puppy Course focused on early socialization and avoiding bad habits, an Adult Dog course described as an obedience reboot for the teenage phase, an Advanced Off-Leash Course aimed at reliable recall anywhere, a Working Dog program that harnesses drive for sport, service or protection work, and Behavior Modification for dogs moving from reactivity to calm confidence.

Board and train

For owners short on time, the Board and Train program is described as an immersion with daily repetitions: owners drop the dog off and pick up a dog that listens. The site's About page says the business grew from its founders' backyard rescue work in San Diego.
