About Structured K9 Training

What they offer

Structured K9 Training is based in Escondido and serves Southern California. The owner, a rescuer of Dobermans with a military and law-enforcement background, learned the trade at a dog training company before starting this business.

Approach

The specialty is low-level remote collar off-leash training. The trainer favors positive training for connecting with a dog but adapts techniques and tools to each dog, and puts heavy emphasis on structure and the dog's state of mind, then teaches owners to keep that structure at home.

Good to know

The business currently does not take dogs with human or dog aggression, so describe your dog's behavior when you first get in touch.
