What they offer

Sandy'z Dog Training works with dogs and owners in Escondido through individual obedience sessions and small group classes. Because individual sessions focus on what the owner wants to work on, the trainer suggests the skills that lead to the result you want.

Classes

Group obedience classes for two to six dogs come in a beginning level (focus, sit, down, stay, leave it, loose leash walking, recall and wait) and an intermediate level with distractions, distance and a modified heel. A skill-building class practices known cues around distractions.

Canine Good Citizen and fun

Canine Good Citizen courses, including Urban and Advanced versions, end with the test in the final session. Tricky Dog and beginning agility courses are open to dogs that already know most beginning obedience skills. Some sessions meet in parks or stores to practice in public.
