Early's Dog Training is run by Ben Early, who is based in Santa Monica and serves Santa Monica, Ventura County and Santa Barbara County, sometimes traveling to train case by case. He works with dogs of all ages, breeds and temperaments, and focuses on private sessions and boarding programs rather than group classes.

Programs

In-home training programs run eight sessions, the first half on leash and the second half off leash. Boarding programs of two or four weeks train the dog on and off leash and include sessions that teach the owner to keep the training up; for more difficult dogs, boarding takes place in the trainer's home alongside other dogs in training, with daily training, exercise and structure. Dogs also practice in a variety of real-world places so the training fits the owner's lifestyle.
