About Calypso Canine

Board and train in Boynton Beach

Calypso Canine is a dog obedience training business on Lawrence Rd in Boynton Beach that works with owners in West Palm Beach and the surrounding areas, including Martin and Broward counties. It describes its approach as reward-based balanced training aimed at complete on-leash and off-leash reliability. Dogs in its board and train program stay in an indoor, climate-controlled training and boarding room at the trainers' home, and the business says it is county licensed to board and train.

Programs

The Good Puppy Program is for puppies under 16 weeks and covers crate training, name recognition and introductory obedience such as walking on leash, sit, down and place. The 10-day Dream Dog Program, for dogs at least 5 months old, trains three times a day and covers basic and advanced commands, loose leash walking, place on a raised cot and a solid off-leash recall around distractions, with weekly video and photo updates, nail trims and baths. The Service Dog Program adds off-leash heeling and extra distraction work for dogs with a calm, sound temperament. In-home training programs are offered as well.

Guarantee and support

Calypso Canine says all training is guaranteed for life and offers free refresher lessons if a dog slips after training. Owners talk directly with the owner and trainer working with their dog.
