About Friends of Peanut Small Dog Boarding
Small dog boarding in West Palm Beach
Friends of Peanut is a licensed and insured, cageless boarding service for small dogs up to 20 pounds, run from the owners' private home at 11547 56th PL N in West Palm Beach. Monika Stefaniak began her pet sitting business in 2004 and works as a full-time, stay-at-home sitter; her husband Jeff, a captain with the City of West Palm Beach Fire Department, helps on his days off. Guests roam the house, cozy up on mini sofas and can sleep in the owners' bed.
Training during stays
Along with boarding, the business offers dog training and puppy training, helping small dogs learn basic obedience while they stay in the home.
Details
Boarding is available 24/7 all year at $60 a day, with pet taxi and dog baths as extras. The home is fully fenced with double doors and gates and two dog yards. Daily photo and video updates go out on Facebook and Instagram. A free evaluation visit comes before any stay, and dogs must be social and up to date on vaccinations. Most clients come from Wellington, Palm Beach Island and Palm Beach Gardens.
What to ask
Ask what the obedience work during a stay covers and whether it costs extra.
