About Prestige Dog Training – Baltimore

Prestige Dog Training in Baltimore

Prestige Dog Training offers private lessons, group classes, day training and board and train in Baltimore. Private lessons are one-on-one and shaped around the dog's behavior and the owner's goals, from basic obedience, leash manners and recall to impulse control, confidence building and unwanted behaviors. Packages run 4, 6 or 8 sessions ($499, $749, $999), with in-home versions at $599, $899 and $1,199 and a $40 travel fee per lesson for homes more than 20 minutes away. A $499 private puppy program gives four 1-hour lessons to pups up to 9 months: sit or down, heel, place, recall, grooming manners and potty training, plus help with mouthing, jumping, resource guarding and chewing.

Group classes and AKC testing

Group classes run six 60-minute sessions for $399 and practice sit, stay, recall, leash manners and impulse control around other dogs and people. The trainers are certified evaluators for the AKC Canine Good Citizen, Urban CGC and Community Canine titles, and offer AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy.

Day training and board and train

Day training packages of 5, 10 or 15 days ($850, $1,550, $2,175) combine one-on-one trainer sessions with structured daycare play, and dogs go home each evening; a private lesson at the end shows the owner what the dog has learned. Board and train starts at $1,400 and covers leash skills, recall, place, polite greetings, door manners, counter surfing and potty training. A 3-week behavior modification program ($1,800) works on reactive behavior, and a 4-week master program ($2,200) adds advanced obedience and off-leash work, each plus $60 a night for boarding. Graduates get a one-hour go-home handler session and two follow-up lessons.
