About Balanced K9 Training of DMV
Balanced K9 Training of DMV
Balanced K9 Training serves Riverdale and the wider District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia area. Its stated mission is to bridge the communication gap between dogs and owners through what it calls the Balanced Training Method, combining positive reinforcement, clear communication and structured guidance.
Programs
Services include board and train, premium boarding, private lessons and specialty training. Sessions can happen in the owner's home or in real-world public settings, which the team recommends for dogs with reactivity or focus issues. It works with puppies, adolescent dogs and adult dogs on obedience, leash reactivity, anxiety and off-leash reliability.
About the business
Balanced K9 describes itself as minority-owned, woman-owned, Veteran-affiliated and faith-based. Financing options are available.
Getting started
A brief introductory phone call or evaluation is free, aimed at matching a dog with the right program before any commitment.
