About Dogs in Progress
How it works
Dogs in Progress starts every new client with a 90-minute consultation at home or in the neighborhood to discuss goals and begin hands-on work. Training then continues as private day training, one day a week for four weeks at the trainer's house with videos and homework, or as 90-minute in-home lessons covering leash manners, healthy play, impulse control and respectful behavior.
Further support
Graduates can add e-collar training, which works over four weeks toward off-leash reliability, a small structured day camp, group classes for practice around other dogs, and overnight boarding that reinforces training while you travel.
Approach
Trainer Emily describes a realistic, practical and holistic approach.
