Board and train from Winthrop Harbor

Dark Raider Dog Training is owned and run by Megan George and is based in Winthrop Harbor, serving southeast Wisconsin and northeast Illinois. Its stated focus is safety: recall, threshold manners, reactivity, barking, resource guarding and leash pulling. Visits are by appointment only.

Fast Track board and train

The one-week board and train includes several structured sessions a day, play and exercise, and off-property training at parks and other public places. Owners get video updates, two private go-home lessons, one follow-up lesson on request within 30 days and follow-up help by phone, text or video. A leash, prong collar and e-collar are included.

Private lessons

Private lessons come to you. The Puppy Starting package for puppies 8 to 16 weeks covers potty training, socialization, crate training and confidence building, using positive reinforcement for sit, down and come. The Basic Obedience package for dogs 6 months and older works on heeling, place, impulse control and an introduction to e-collar and off-leash work. Custom behavior modification programs are also offered.

Boarding

Dogs that finish the board and train qualify for boarding, with add-on training sessions and field trips.
