About Animal Welfare Association

About

The Animal Welfare Association is a no-kill shelter and low-cost clinic on Centennial Boulevard in Voorhees whose behavior and training department, led by its behavior team, also trains the public's dogs with certified instructors.

Training

Group classes come as four-week series or single sessions: obedience foundations such as sit, stay and heel, loose-leash walking, Well-Mannered Dog and Pub-Ready Pooch classes for pet-friendly public spaces, and recall training. Private behavior and training lessons of 30 minutes or an hour address issues big and small, including dogs that struggle around other dogs, and consultations are available for any problem.
