South Central Texas Dog Boarding & Training (SCTX) is a locally owned boarding and training business in Fayetteville, set on a 20-acre farm and serving Brenham, Houston, Austin, Bastrop, Katy and the Cy-Fair area. Head trainer Paul Holzhauer is credited with over a decade of experience and uses a balanced approach with modern tools and techniques.

Programs

Board and train options include an obedience program (commands, house manners, leash walking, public interactions), a Total Control program covering off-leash recall and public readiness, a Behavior Transformation program for complex issues, a puppy enrichment program for pups 6 months and under, and a dog weight loss camp with diet, nature walks, bike rides and swimming. Day training covers an adult refresher, puppy foundations, a reactivity course called Growly to Great, and an Ultimate Dog program. Every program includes owner classes, and boarding dogs get photos and progress reports. Boarding uses separate locking kennels in an air-conditioned facility, with an optional bath and nail trim.
