About Hound habits

Force-free in-home training in Dallas

Hound Habits is the Dallas training business of Agatha Weisz, a CCPDT-certified trainer who has helped Dallas families raise puppies and teach manners for over 20 years. She uses modern, force-free methods, with no prong collars or punishment, and trains the dog and the family together so results stick. In-home sessions cover Oak Cliff, Preston Hollow, the Park Cities, Lakewood, Uptown, Oak Lawn, East Dallas, Kessler, Bishop Arts and nearby neighborhoods, and virtual coaching is available anywhere.

Packages

Every package includes an onboarding lesson and a follow-up session a month after finishing. Day Training ($800, six sessions) has Agatha train the dog one on one twice a week for three weeks, with weekly owner check-ins and a field trip into Dallas. Canine Coaching ($500) teaches owners to train their own dog over four weekly sessions with video reviews, a personalized curriculum and a homework checklist. Virtual Canine Coaching ($500) runs six Zoom sessions over three weeks. A $150 Puppy Prep Session add-on covers sleeping setup, potty and crate training choices and preventing nipping, jumping and chewing.
