About Dog Math Behavior Consulting
Behavior consulting in Austin
Dog Math Behavior Consulting is an Austin behavior practice that continues the behavior work of See Spot Behave, now devoted entirely to it. It helps dogs who are reactive, fearful, anxious, aggressive or guarding, and travels to homes all over the Austin and Central Texas area. Every dog is evaluated by a certified behavior consultant, and each plan is carried out in the home by a certified trainer. Adventure outings such as guided hikes and trail trips now run separately under See Spot Have Fun with Diane Smith.
How it works
Clients start with an intake call, followed by an in-home evaluation with first tips and tools. Owners then receive a customized behavior plan with milestones and checkpoints, and the plan flexes as the dog learns, with no locked-in path or price. One-on-one coaching happens virtually or in person, and the team collaborates with the dog's veterinarian. The approach centers on emotional safety, trust and partnership rather than obedience drills.
What owners say
One client from Georgetown wrote: "I learned more about dog behavior in one hour than I have my entire life."
