About Full Spectrum Canine
Board and train for real-life challenges
Full Spectrum Canine is an Austin dog trainer specializing in personalized board-and-train programs for problems like barking and lunging on walks or hard-to-reach, high-drive dogs. Founder Nick Moccia began training professionally in the summer of 2020, refined his skills at the Michael Ellis School for Dog Trainers, and uses a range of tools from slip leads to e-collars. It cites 300+ lives transformed and a 5/5 average Google rating.
Programs
Board and train runs Monday to Friday with home integration weekends, mandatory go-home lessons and a free follow-up lesson, and pricing includes any training collars the dog goes home with. Board and train is $1,000 per week: a 2 Week On Leash Obedience Basics program is $2,000 and a 3 Week Off-Leash Obedience Basics program is $3,000, with longer reactivity and behavior modification programs for dog or people reactivity and bite history. Jump Start to Success is a three-week, $3,000 puppy program covering potty-training foundations, leash training and socialization. Private lessons tackle specific problems such as recall and loose leash walking, and program recommendations follow an in-person assessment, usually at home.
What owners say
One owner wrote that after the 3-week program "it was the BEST decision" for her dog Luna.
