About Kountry K9s Dog Training

Woman veteran-owned training in Briggs

Kountry K9s Dog Training is a woman veteran-owned dog training and boarding business in Briggs, working with dog owners across the Central Texas area. It offers obedience training, trick dog training, boarding and limited grooming, and promises a customized plan for each dog along with full transparency about the techniques it uses.

Ways to train

Clients choose from three options: one-on-one private lessons that teach owners how to teach their dog; a board and train in which the trainers teach the fundamentals and then show owners how to reinforce them; and trainer-owned dog boarding. Common goals include reliable recall, leash manners, begging and counter surfing, jumping on guests and kids, and rushing the door. Group classes and events are also offered. New clients fill out a form and then have a phone consultation to plan training.

What owners say

One client wrote that trainer Brandie "had my 3 yr old Blue Nose pup obeying commands almost immediately."
