About Dog Savvy Dog Training
In-home training for family dogs
Dog Savvy Dog Training offers private in-home dog training for family dogs in Round Rock, Austin and Georgetown. It is run by owners Andrew and Brittany Gleason, with Andrew as owner and trainer. Their programs are built around a quality-of-life outcome rather than a set list of commands, and are not locked to a set number of lessons.
Approach
The owners say they teach dogs emotional and problem-solving skills, such as staying calm when exciting things happen and settling on their own, so families get calmer greetings, walks without pulling and off-leash trust.
Programs
The Basics covers indoor manners such as jumping, play-biting, chewing and personal space, typically over 4 weeks at your home, with lifetime access to an online video library. The Companion adds relaxation training, guest manners and leash walking over about 8 weeks, with three months of Zoom coaching and private group support. The Sidekick runs about 12 weeks at home and in public places like parks and coffee shops, adding off-leash reliability, two trainer-led sessions and six months of support.
