Dog Think is a Jacksonville dog training business started by Mary Scott, CPDT-KA, RN, BSN, to offer affordable training using science-based positive reinforcement. Mary combines decades of experience in healthcare, behavioral health and animal training, has earned advanced AKC obedience, rally and trick dog titles, has evaluated and worked with therapy dogs, and was previously a certified riding instructor. She serves families throughout East Texas.

Services and prices

Private in-home sessions address leash pulling, jumping, reactivity and listening skills where they happen, at $60 per hour or $220 for 4 sessions. The board and train program lets a dog live in Mary's home as one of her own, with practical skills, manners, behavior modification, enrichment and outings, plus a follow-up visit after the dog returns home, at $60 per day. Day training in her home is $50 per day. Programs cover puppy training, basic obedience, advanced skills, tricks, reactivity and on- and off-leash training. A free initial in-home evaluation is the first step.
