What they offer

SIRIUS Puppy & Dog Training's flagship classes meet in the Creekside Room at Live Oak Park on Shattuck Avenue in Berkeley, where its puppy training classes were first taught in 1982. Courses run for five sessions and are grouped by age: Puppy Kindergarten, Puppy I, Puppy II and Dog I for dogs over 18 weeks.

How classes work

Classes focus on puppy socialization with people and other puppies, gentle play, confidence for shy pups and off-leash control around distractions. Students also get three months of access to an online library of training courses and videos.

Good to know

Enter Live Oak Park from the Walnut Street side, by the tennis courts, and wait to bring your dog inside until the instructor says so.
