About Train the Bay

What they offer

Train the Bay is Berkeley Humane's dog training program, established in 1985, with small group classes in its training center on Ninth Street in Berkeley, private one-on-one consultations and online AKC trick evaluations.

Classes

Puppy Start Up helps puppies make friends, learn good play behavior and develop confidence, trust, manners and boundaries. Rally courses develop precise heel and recall positions, even for teams that never plan to enter a trial. Seminars and workshops add topics such as pet first aid.

Philosophy

The program's view is that dogs and humans should live side by side in a cooperative relationship, with small classes so each family gets individual attention. Register online for the next session.
